Ľubomír Slovinský

Slovakian designer and digital media artist. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in the Art Design studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, he completed his master’s studies at the Digital Media Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Banska Bystrica.

His work focuses mainly on environmental, natural and urban issues, often using digital media such as projections, light or video installations, and animations. Between 2015-17, he took part in annual exhibitions at Design Week Bratislava, at the Design Forum (Nitra), at the Festival of Light and Shadow (Banská Bystrica), as well as in the project “Flowers for Slovakia”, which was presented at many design festivals in Europe, for example DMY Berlin or Dutch Design Week Eindhoven.

The founder and head of the cultural organization Zapadnutý Kút, initiated the Gelnické Iluminácie light festival and established the Cultural Center in Gelnica, Slovakia.
