Pat Grimm
Pat Grimm is a visual artist specialising in live analog liquid projections. Over the years, she has collaborated with numerous sound artists across genres ranging from psychedelic rock to electronic and ambient music, performing everywhere from the fields of Glastonbury to intimate venues such as New River Studios.
Her distinctive technique combines oil inks on glass plates and petri dishes beneath live cameras, with the visuals projected in real time — intentionally avoiding the use of computers. By transmitting her imagery live, she creates a direct, responsive dialogue with the music. Her hands-on approach celebrates the human element of improvisation, embracing playfulness and the collective creative flow that emerges between performers.
