Piotr Cienkowski

A Polish bassist, classically trained, but destined for jazz. He is a member of the jazz trio ‘Kwaśny Deszcz’ and the septet ‘Anomalia.’ He collaborates with the Poznań Philharmonic

Second Prize winner of the 10th edition of the Polish Bass Competition, named after Bronisław Ciechanski. He finished his bass studies at the Academy of Music in Poznań under prof. Piotr Czerwiński and composition/arrangement under Krzesimir Dębski. He participates in many orchestral and chamber ensembles. He is a fan of long-distance travel in his Volkswagen Westfalia.
